BEHIND THE SCENES

Colleen is an actress, writer and multidisciplinary artist living in Toronto. She is curious about the way we use words, the way words hit us on a visceral level, the way words have lost their meaning and how simply flipping words around can create an entirely new experience.

Currently Colleen trains with Second City and Lewis Baumander Acting School. She has studied Theatrical and Visual arts at Dalhousie University and NSCAD with an Honours degree in theatre from Dalhousie University.

Colleen has been nominated twice for Mobifest awards, her experimental films shot only on mobile phones and point and shoot cameras delighting both the audience and judges. She has written and directed for theatre and her own short films. Acting credits include Trailer Park Boys, Celine, A Glass Country (feature), Crackwalker (theatre), Modern Love (theatre), and Ontario NDP PSAs (voice).

Most recently Colleen has been profiled as an Outstanding Actor by the international 48 Hour Film Festival.
